Welcome to Pops and Bobbers, the ultimate fishbowl showdown where chaos meets strategy in a gloriously tiny arena. It’s Pop versus Bobber in a battle of wits, reflexes, and pure aquatic absurdity!

I was a Gameplay Programmer and Designer, designing the main character abilities and hazards

This was a team Game Jam and all members of the team are credited in the trailer!

Whirlpool system

Hazard detects when, Koi man interacts, once above it, players controls reverse for 5 seconds and the whirlpool takes 15 seconds to reload

Popped System

Event for when your opponent pops your bubble as the Koi character speeding you up and setting your bubble an unseeable size

GrowthSystem

Event checks if the Koi man has a bubble on interaction with bubble item, if he does it grows the bubble if he doesn't he gains a bubbble

Bubble Growth Calling

Separate Item Blueprint, checks which character runs into it, if Koi fish then it calls to the growth system inside and grows his bubble

Bubble Shrink

Bubble Shrink system that determines when your popped

Decal Placer

Scrapped Event
System spawns a decal on whatever the Koi fish character hits infront of them!

Cracked Shard System

Scraped Event. System spawns a niagra system facing off whatever the Koi fish character hits

Bubble Reset

Event that resets and adds a bubble back once the Koi fish loses it!

Bobbers Win Cinematic

Cinematic that plays when Bobbers, the Koi man, wins!
